Corey was great! He helped us to not only navigate the home buying process, but to really understand what loan options were available to us and the advantages and disadvantages of each. Through multiple e-mails, calls, and even a few meetings – Corey always devoted the time and energy to us individually when meeting.

We understood that this is a very crazed time for refinancing and new home purchases but there were a few stumbles at the finish line that caused us some concern and stress. Some of the requested documents were provided quite late in the day and needed to be returned by midnight that same day. On our closing day the documents weren't provided to the title company in time so we ended up needing to reschedule.

Blaming COVID for the length of time is passing the buck! Corey was great which is why we are loyal to him and came back to MANN five years after purchasing. However, his employees are less than desirable. We are loyal people and believe when something is said, it should be done. Way too many mistakes. Our experience with Corey was great! But with some of the other employees it was very unpleasant: lack of communication, unprofessional, and not helpful. Clear, concise info of what is needed and if it had been received for the transaction. Prompt returning of phone calls versus the client having to continually hound and call 10 times in a day to make finally make contact once with the file manager (because email doesn't seem to work either). Being assisted promptly in the office versus waiting for 5-10minutes, while 2 employees (one of which sees you walk in) finish their personal conversation about partying and boozes and climbing into the back of car trunks. Making sure that the client is aware of what is needed for the day of closing, such as the exact amount of money being brought to the table (not the preliminary balance) and a cashier’s check (versus a personal check).
At first I didn’t believe we would be closing in 30 days. Friends had told us their experience and they were told 30 days but have taken as long as 45-60days. But it happened in 30days!! I am so happy!!
It is just a lot of work to get a mortgage completed. It wasn't anything your company did, it just isn't a pleasant experience to get a mortgage is all.
