Jerry knows the industry. Very knowledgeable–was able to provide me with options and guidance as far which options made the most sense for me. Jerry operates with a 'client for life' mentality–I will always work with him for all of my mortgage finance needs. I recommend him without hesitation.

Over the past 40 years of buying and selling real estate I have found Jerry Shumard to be the best. For the purchase of my last home in 2012, I asked my realtor for a good loan broker. He said he had recently found David and Jerry Shumard at American Financial Network, Inc. and strongly recommended them as the best he had ever used. I agree, Jerry and his team are focused on you as a customer and specialize in meeting your specific needs. I cannot say enough about how they walked me through all of the loan requirements making each step simple and well organized. Phone calls are always promptly and courteously returned. Jerry and his team are very professional and service oriented. I consider Jerry as my go-to-loan-guy and have referred a number of friends to his services. They have also had a great experience with Jerry and his team.

Jerry Shumard was the perfect loan officer for my wife and I. As new home buyers, we were unfamiliar with the process of purchasing a home but Jerry made the experience go very smoothly. He was always quick to respond to any questions we had and he went the extra mile for us when it came time for us to close. We liked him so much that when it came time to refinance our loan we knew that we wanted to go with Jerry. Once again, he made the refi an easy process. My wife and I highly recommend Jerry Shumard!

Jerry gave us sound advice during our first home purchase. We were unfortunately not working with Jerry as our loan agent then, and we almost did not get our house! However, Jerry helped us come up with a plan and acted as a sounding board. We went to him for our refinance and had a great experience. We then used him for our second home purchase. Jerry is extremely knowledgeable and a no BS kind of guy. He tells you upfront how long things are going to take and the cost. We own a business and have self employed income, which makes things slightly more difficult when trying to purchase a home. He has access to more lenient lenders than a traditional bank. Bottom line he has great communication, does not promise on things he cannot deliver, and has the experience you want to make your experience less stressful.

Jerry helped us with the purchase of our first home. We were on the waitlist to qualify for a moderate income home and since he knew we would qualify he pushed for us to be next in line. We love our new home! Thanks Jerry!

Jerry is a loan Super Hero!

Jerry has done loans for hundreds of my customers. I have seen him work on some very tough deals. He listens to what people need and he gets it done. Another one of Jerry's strengths is that he is a great communicator. You will know exactly what's happening and what needs to happen. For these reasons, I thought of Jerry when I did my own loan. Jerry has a great team and portfolio of products. I wouldn't go to anyone else!
