    I told the team what I needed and how much I had to saved up and was wanting to see how realistic buying my first home was, we had a stressful process only because of the IRS but ended up coming on top at the end and getting it under what I had saved up being able to move in as a first time home buyer with some money for appliances and necessities. Great experience 10/10 will most definitely recommend to anyone in need!!

    Ms. Patti… Y'all she really out did herself!!! She worked so hard, day and night to get my wife into our forever home that we already love so much. She answered every question even past business hours. She never ever hesitated to answer a question or even repeat everything to us more than once. I probably had 5 questions a day the whole 3 months we went through this, and it was never ever an issue with her. We seriously couldn’t have asked for a better mortgage person. She got everything done in time for closing on the dot. Thank you again so so much. You’re a life saver.

    Lender was great! Very timely and clear communication. They were patient and stayed on top of every detail of my application process. Also, they were patient with me when I had some snags during the loan process.

    Not only was she a pleasure to work with on getting our VA loan, Patti and Homestar truly worked a mortgage miracle for us. We had been working with a large, well-known lender, but customer service (and results) were a problem. Patti was able to resolve all of our biggest concerns the first day we spoke to her. That was such a comfort at a stressful time. We were told by original lender that we would miss our closing date by more than a week. Patti was able to push our VA loan through on time, and she had two weeks less to work with by the time we reached out to her. Homestar got us through the whole process, including a problem with the VA appraisal and a re-negotiation, in just 2 weeks! Not sure how they did it, but we are extremely grateful to Patti and her whole team. Such a low rate, too! But the best part was that she truly seemed to care and always took the time to resolve any concerns we had. She was very responsive whenever we had a question. Thank you, Patti!!!

    I knew within the first five minutes of speaking with Patti from Homestar that this is where and with who, I will be purchasing my first home. She is an extremely helpful and understanding person, who took each question I asked (which was ALOT) with patience and answered extremely thoroughly. I know buying a home is suppose to be stressful but it wasnt with Homestar. Their staff are all on the same page and quick to respond. I couldnt have asked for better. Highly recommended. If you dont believe me, see for yourself.

    Patti helped my husband and I purchase a home at a time we didn't think it was possible. She worked diligently to help us through this process. it required many emails back and forth providing many documents on our part. Timeliness on our end was necessary to make that happen on Patti's end as well. This could be an extremely overwhelming process however Patti walked us through every step, explaining it as we went. I could never have asked for anyone to work harder for us through this process. When contacted by others in this company they too were professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. We feel like have gained some new friends along the way. Without hesitation I would recommend Patti, you will be happy you did!!

    Patti was such a blessing to us. Our whole experience was so enjoyable I couldn't believe we actually bought a house. We got to close early and I felt like I had a friend watching out for us the whole time. She was very patient with us and explained everything along the way of what to expect and how things work.     I have to say that Mrs Patti Hale was so helpful to me when I decided to purchase my first home. Her attitude was always positive and she always made the time to answer any questions I had concerning the process with me buying my first home. I trusted Mrs Patti through the whole process because she went above and beyond to keep thongs moving along. How is it that she could have a lot of loan applications to process and still make you feel like your her only client? It takes a special person to be able to do that. Her professionalism and honesty is awesome. She don't just listen to you, she hears you and will help you to make the best decision for yourself and family. I would highly recommend Mrs Patti Hale.

    Everyone with Homestar was very friendly and helpful with the whole process!! It went very smoothly and very quick! We were originally set to close our loan in mid June and ended up closing early at the end of May which was great!! I would definitely recommend Homestar to anyone looking for financing on their next home.

    Patti has done two mortgages for our family. She is extremely knowledgeable of all the different programs and worked hard to find the best fit for our family. She was very quick to respond to any questions and an absolute joy to work with. It was obvious, through her work ethic, that she had our best interest at heart.     The best person to deal with in this area! She helped me greatly with my home purchase, and their processing was very fast. All of the employees at Homestar Financial in Brunswick are very knowledgeable and stay on the same page. They are also very pleasant people to work with, having people skills which most companies lack. I would highly recommend, especially if going through USDA.
